I began working in admissions in college, and proceeded to work for multiple institutions, including leading liberal arts colleges. I took a hiatus to earn my Masters in Education in Human Development and Psychology from Harvard University.

After learning countless “tricks of the trade,” and growing increasingly frustrated as I saw students not put their best foot forward to be competitive for college, largely due to misconceptions, I decided to work on the other side of the desk.

I now leverage my editing and writing skills learned from serving as the communications liaison at two colleges to specialize in essays.

I balance editing and counseling with my other career as a professional triathlete. As I travel far from my home in Oregon, I pride myself on helping students from all over the world.
